You may be wondering, what are those little stats in my profile and what are they for? Well, you've come to the right place.
About Levels
Your level (abbreviated as LVL in your profile) corresponds to the level of your character and defines what privileges you have access to. As you increase in level, your character's stats increase, you unlock more abilities and weapons, and you acquire the ability to go on higher-level missions.
A new level is achieved with every 100 posts. Remember, posting in any OOC board does not increase your post count.
About Skill Points
Skill points (abbreviated as SP in your profile) are a sort of intangible currency used to purchase new abilities or weapons training. Skill points can be earned in several ways. The main ways to get SP are completing missions, winning contests, participating in site events, referring people, and being awarded SP by staff. Staff will award SP in response to particularly good behavior or occasionally a stellar RP post.
A very easy way to earn SP is to refer people. If a new member mentions that you referred them in their Introduction thread, both of you will automatically receive 2 SP. If someone you referred gains over 20 posts, you may PM a staff member for an additional 5 SP.
