Fiasco was impressed by her dodge-- she was quite agile, and quick too, especially for someone without advanced training. But he spotted her coming this time, and lithely leaned backwards so that her blade whizzed past his shoulder by mere inches. Using this opportunity to make another attack, he took advantage of her slightly unstable footing and swept his foot across the ground, attempting to knock her to the floor.
Fiasco uses Basic Attack.

He escaped her slash, but she wasn't ready to give in yet- the slash to her arm wasn't slowing her down, and she still felt the adrenaline rush. His leg was sweeping at her suddenly, and she found herself leaping to avoid the attack of his feet. He was good, it was almost just a bit unnerving- but she knew she had to do this. She felt her foot slide, and braced her palms on the ground of the training area, kicking out with a booted foot, hoping to strike a soft area.
Marika uses Basic Attack (?).

((Wow, they really are well-matched! This is fun.))
Fiasco leaped up with his powerful legs, successfully avoiding her kick. He landed on the ground in a crouch with a soft grunt, but didn't linger for long-- he swiftly stepped to her side as she was recovering from her missed kick.
((He's not attacking this turn. C;))

She had missed, of course- how could she really hit the Co-Chief more than once? She rested for a brief moment, breathing in and out carefully, to try and relax her erratically beating heart. She quickly leaped up to her feat and lunged at him, wanting to take advantage of his rest.

But he was on his guard-- he dodged easily, his feet coming to a stop beside the bright floodlight, where he had begun. She seemed to have gotten the hang of it very quickly, and she was efficient with her attacks as well. "You aren't bad at all. With some training, you'll be quite the scare for our enemies." he remarked.

She halted her movements as he dodged, staring at her opponent and mentor. Were they done? It seemed as so. She straightened up carefully, sliding closer and nodding at his praise, feeling a bit of warmth at his laudings. She shrugged, mostly silent. "Are we done?' She decided to enquire.

"Unless you'd like to continue," he replied, flipping the dagger over in between his fingers. He didn't have any terribly pressing matters to tend to or anything, but she seemed to be pretty well off.

"I am perfectly ready to deal with anything." She blinked at him slowly, not stowing away her knife yet, touching the cut on her arm briefly. It wasn't bad, but she would clean it later tonight, as well as repair the small slit it had caused. "Is there anything else you wish to test me on?" She continued cooly, her ears twitching thoughtfully.

He chuckled a bit, leaning his arm on the wall and consequently hitting the light switch. Bright lights immediately flooded the room, which was considerably large, with many half-walls, indents, and useful nooks and crannies. It was the perfect place for an Agent to train.
"Not really. You're ready to join our team-- and I'm glad you have." Pushing himself off the wall, he added, "The doctors over in the Medical Bay can take a look at that if you'd like-- although it doesn't look too serious."

Marika looked around the room curiously, noting the nooks and crannies in case she ever needed to work in here again. Interesting design, useful thought, particularly if the House was ever attacked. Like that would ever happen.
She turned back to him when he spoke, her dark eyes narrowed in thought, before nodding her head abruptly. "Thank you, sir." She touched the scratch as her nose crinkled up in thought, making some small freckle-like spots stand out, which she hated. "No thank you, it is not serious enough to warrant a trip to the Medical Bay."

He nodded, sizing her up once more. "Suit yourself. I'll be leaving now, but if you need any assistance orienting yourself, just ask."
There were some mission files that needed reviewing, and not to mention a that new contract he needed to write... Neither of which he was especially excited to do, but which needed to be done some time or other nonetheless.
((I'm going to start bolding my dialogue so it's easier to spot when you're referencing back to the post. You can do this or not, I just thought I might let you know so you aren't left wondering why there's randomly bolded text. XD))
