Your User Profile is like your own personal hub or homepage. All of your important information is gathered in your User Profile for easy access. This guide will take you through creating and maintaining your profile.
First, you have to create a thread in the User Profiles board, of course. Now, simple fill out the form~
Main Account: Type your main username here. So, the account you're using right now. (You shouldn't have more than one account unless you have more than one character-- which is hard to achieve.)
Nickname: What do you want people to call you? Especially if you have multiple accounts, this can get confusing. So just do us a favor and clear it up for everyone.
Special: If you have any sort of special status (such as staff status, Veteran member status, Division Head, etc,) that will go here. A staff member must confirm this in the comments, though.
Characters: Use this format to list your characters and their alternate accounts:
Character Name (nothing here, because this one is your main account)
Character Name - Alternate Account
Make sure your Character Name links to its Character Profile, and make sure the Alternate Account links to the alternate account.
Notes: Here is your free space! You can include things like a list of threads you've participated in, your RP preferences, or any news about your characters (or yourself, like maybe you'll be gone for a while or something.)
And that's all there is to it. Note that when you get to the point where you can have another character, you will be required to create a new account, but that account will link to your already-existing User Profile. You will not have multiple profiles. Questions? Ask!
